Shannon Popp, Office Manager at Finch Financial Solutions, brings a blend of professionalism and warmth to her role. With three years of experience in the financial industry, Shannon has honed her skills under the mentorship of Pete, the firm's founder. She holds an Associate’s Degree from Northwestern Michigan College, which she completed after transferring from Alma College, where she was a double major in Psychology and Biology with a minor in Chemistry.
Shannon grew up and continues to live in the picturesque Leelanau County, where she is deeply rooted in the community. She is very close to her family, which includes her dad and his fiancé, three sisters (each married with two kids), and an older brother. Outside of work, Shannon enjoys reading, hiking, swimming, and gathering around bonfires with her loved ones.
Shannon's commitment to integrity and honesty is evident in her approach to her role. She thrives on collaboration, working closely with the team to ensure that every client's experience is seamless and personalized. Her favorite part of the job is making the business as easy as possible for clients by being clear about their needs and responding promptly.
Shannon's personal achievements include placing 1st in the state of Michigan and 11th in the nation for Individual Microsoft Word Processing, as well as 2nd in the state and 8th in the nation for Administrative Support, both through Business Professionals of America. She is also the President of the Board for the Leelanau Youth Ensemble, a role that underscores her dedication to giving back to her community.
A significant milestone in Shannon's career was passing the SIE in May 2024, further solidifying her expertise and commitment to the financial industry. Her enduring, reliable, and capable nature makes her an invaluable asset to Finch Financial Solutions.
