Pete Finch, Financial Advisor and Owner of Finch Financial Solutions, brings 25 years of experience and a commitment to transparency and integrity. He holds a BA in Economics from the University of Michigan - Dearborn and an MBA from Western Michigan University.
Pete grew up in the Detroit suburb of Dearborn Heights and now lives in Manistee, Michigan, with his wife, Whitney, and their 7-year-old son, Liam. With them is Greta, their 7-year-old German Longhair Pointer, and a 17-year-old cat named Mika. Pete loves spending time with his two grown children, Elsa and Scout, both of which are living out on their own and thriving in their own careers.
Outside of work, Pete enjoys playing hockey, managing their getaway place "The Ranch," and activities like hunting, fishing, and enjoying the peaceful natural beauty.
Pete's personal achievements include being a dedicated board member of the Manistee County Community Foundation.
Pete's career journey includes roles in restaurants, branch banking, project management, and senior management in electronic banking and the credit/debit card industry. He holds through LPL the Series 6, 7, and 65 licenses and specializes in overall financial planning with a focus on sound retirement strategies and understanding clients' needs.
His favorite part of the job is the long-term collaboration and honesty that develops with clients. Pete believes in working directly and transparently to help clients pursue their goals, which also helps him realize his own. He emphasizes being prudent with a focus on growth while mitigating risk.
Pete's career milestones include building a successful practice from scratch and becoming the youngest Senior Vice President at his bank. He also values his role as a high school basketball coach.
